Frequently Asked Questions I've ordered a NuMetrex Sports Bra or Chest Strap system - how long will it take to reach me?
We do our best to have your new heart rate monitoring system to you within three working days so that you can get comfortable and start using it as soon as possible!
There may be unforseen circumstances that foil our best intentions, and we ask that you contact us directly if you haven't received your NuMetrex products within 5 working days.
How do I attach the black transmitter?
Simply insert the WearLinkTM or NuMetrex transmitter into the inside of the NuMetrex sports bra chest band, and snap it into place. For best comfort and body fit, place the transmitter into the pocket so that the shorter edge is facing upwards.
How do I Activate the heart rate monitoring system?
The sensors woven into the bra work with your body's perspiration to maintain a connection. To activate the system before you start to perspire, or on cold days, simply wet your fingertips and rub the moisture onto the sensor area of the bra. This is easiest while wearing the bra.
What should I do if I have questions or need help with the watch?

Does the NuMetrex sports bra require special laundering care?
Always remove the transmitter before washing. Machine wash cold or warm. Hang to dry or Tumble dry on the low heat setting.
Who is Textronics?
Textronics is a company that designs and develops electro-textile solutions. The Company works on fabrics and systems that sense, warm, conduct and illuminate. The NuMetrex sports bra is the first in a line of physiological monitoring garments for men and women. You may also find Textronics monitoring technology in garments produced by other popular clothing brands.
What bra size should I order?
The fit of the NuMetrex sports bra is designed to fit comfortably yet snugly around the torso to hold the sensors in place. The seamless construction provides a forgiving fit between size ranges. A general size guide follows:

How does laundering affect the performance of the bra?
The NuMetrex sports bra is highly durable to laundering. It has been tested for wash durability in the lab and in wear tests in both the USA and here in Australia. Lab results indicate the bra can be washed 80 to 100 times before any affect on performance is noticed. After that you may notice an occasional error reading, but the system does continues to work reliably . The bras we've had in wear tests have been washed and worn several times a week over the last six months, and they continue to work very accurately.
When I first put on the bra I do not get a reading on my watch. What should I do?
The NuMetrex sports bra is activated by the moisture created by your body when you exercise. You will need to build up some body heat to get it working or you can apply water to your body or the grey areas next to the transmitter before you start your workout.
What is the Refund Policy?
You may return a garment for size-exchange, refund or replacement within 30 days of purchase.
To return, send an e-mail with the reason for return to SportSPeak Customer Service and you will be sent an RMA number, along with a Reply Paid mailing address within 24 hours.
No returns will be processed without an RMA number.
